Upper surfaces finished in Humbrol Dark Earth and Tamiya RAF Dark Green and a step sourced from spares. As anticipated the vintage 'transfers' shattered in the water so I had to turn to the spares box but unfortunately I don't have any Type B roundels of the correct size so I'll have to get a sheet. I looked at various photos before deciding to base the a/c on White 43, W8825, from 5 (P) AFU [Pilot Advance Flying Unit], based at RAF Tern Hill, having a good photo of this in my copy of Owen Thetford's 1962 edition of 'Aircraft of the Royal Air Force since 1918'.
Despite it's age this kit can be turned into a good looking model with a little TLC.

Hi Chris,
If you can Email me with the size of type B roundels you need (in scale inches) and I'm sure I can help you out from my stash.
Cheers,
Bigkev

PS. Looks nice even without the type 'B's'
I hope my next is always better

Thanks Kev,
In 1/72 scale they're 12mm/half inch diameter. I'll text you our new address.

Hi Chris,
Got your new address okay.
Will look in my decal bank tonight and let you know.

Nice work there Chris.  I think I have one of these, plus the Magister hidden away somewhere.  Also I have the xtradecal British non-combat types sheet too as the markings with the kits are well past their best - or where when I last looked.  They're probably even more well past their best now, whatever that would be!

Complete at last thanks to the 'B' type roundels Kev kindly gave me.

Hi Chris,
Glad I was of some use in this build.
The 'Master' looks very much the part.
