Hi All,
Was searching the loft stash and came across this kit which I bought probably 20 years ago.
It is a short run kit of the He-100 fighter.
The kit has a nice decal sheet and some etch brass for the cockpit
I had made a start on the wings, removed all the parts from the sprues, why I haven't a clue....! I have taped the fuselage and wings together so you can get some idea of its shape.
Anyway decided I would breathe some life back into it and hope in the ensuing weeks to continue with its build in between some submarines on the go.
Some pictures of the model and parts attached.
Cheers Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

You are getting quite busy Kevin. I presume this is 1/72nd scale?

Just be careful you don't stick submarine bits on the aircraft, or vice versa!!!

Interestingly I have this very same kit, probably also from about twenty years ago and only last week had it out for an airing.  As you've possibly noticed I've a liking for Ernst Heinkel's [actually the Gunter twins] designs and was contemplating starting either the He100, 162 or for real self abuse the V-2 version of the He 178.

Another of your builds I'll watch with great interest.

This is one of my favorite German aircraft.
I will be watching this one. 8)

Hi Francis,
I better pay attention to my building of this one if your watching.
It is definitely not a 'Shake and Bake' kit though, and will need a bit of TLC along the way. I have ordered some Valium already, as I think I will need it.
Cheers,
Kevin

I think eliptical wings look fabulous on aircraft. In my mind it gives them a subtle beauty.

Now then Kevin I see no reason for you to be worried or going for the Valium given the quality of your builds. The parts in the kit have fine surface detail however I suspect there'll be a definite need for some filler and clamping.

Never seen one of these aircraft before, it will be interesting to watch the build.
