Excellent Msea,
Showing us your undoubted skills at every post.

Funnels now have all detail removed and holes for the wires drilled. Coat of paint given and now seen in the photo they need a lot of sorting out along the demarcation line yellow/black  -- or Haddock will be chastising me for sloppy work.
Don't you just hate photos that show every blemish and mistake -- oh well just remember is a hobby and only for FUN.

Red Lancer

Biplane builders drill blind holes in the underside of the top wing and completely through the bottom wing.
Glue in the top, pass through the bottom, stretch and glue! I know, one of them told me!!!

Now if Red is the person I think he is - you will get a clout next meeting for that comment Kevin - and he is near enough to me to throw a brick through the window and still stay 2m apart - so I am saying nothing about age - hohoho

Wonderful modelling and all to 1/35oth scale!
I can't even go to that depth of detail in 1/48th!!!
Respect Brother Haddock. No wonder you win all those classes at model competitions.

Just got off the phone with Haddock, and to prove I was telling the truth about next model to be worked on here is the photo ( Varyag like a lot of my models finished and under construction have been boxed and put in the garage while I have some new furniture in my room - that was to be a quick job but covid 19 has got in he way )
So am now re-reading the instruction sheets and finishing a couple of bits and bobs and then back on with the Varyag, that will keep Haddock happy and as we all know a Happy Haddock makes everybody happy.

A happy Haddock, no lets not go there, what a frightening thought (add this to the list Tony).

Oops, sorry folks, thought there was some activity here, must have been day-dreaming.
Back to my own little world.

Gentle hint - yes I will do some more - still trying to get my room sorted.
