This is an Amodel kit in 1/72nd I started last week. Someone did suggest I posted more as I progress!
Anyway like a lot of models from this manufacturer there is quite a bit of flash to remove. Interestingly the larger kits seem to have less - maybe it's a relative thing.
One photo shows the fuselage halves ( cockpit inserted ) with one or two assemblies. The other shows what it is expected to look like.

Will it be in a diorama - maybe taking a zombie to hospital - hohohohohoho
Even if NO zombies will still enjoy watching this progress.

No diorama or zombies for this one I'm afraid Martin.

Hi Chris,
Built one a few years ago.
It will be to see one built with 'your' skill.
Cheers,
Bigkev

I'll do my best. A bit of filling going on at the moment.

Looking forward to this one.

Coming along nicely Chris. See my previous comments re A Model kits. They can be handful but sometimes they're the only game in town.

chriswil42

Yes I agree Chris. They have produced quite a few models of the Soviet era helicopters. Being the only game in town we have to put up withe extra work.

Hi Chris,
I'm sure the one I built multiple decades ago was around 1/100, but I'm not even sure who made it.
Perhaps my memory wires are crossed, but it certainly was not to 1/72 from A-Model.
I'm at the memory clinic tomorrow, perhaps I'll have an answer then, or not if I forget to ask.....?

There was one produced in 1/72 before the Amodel creations and believe it or not - not as good as the Amodel kits. I can't remember who the company was - eastern European, I think.

Hi Chris,
Think you are right. I bow to your much more supreme knowledge on whirly-things.

Mostly built now. Lots of flash so quite a bit of filling done - maybe not finished with the filler yet. Now ready for the panniers.
