In an attempt to overcome boredom I have read the July issue of Scale Aviation Modeller
more or less from cover to cover.. In the IPMS Column it is stated that there is possibility of Telford taking
place in November! No doubt all you IMPS members are aware of this, but I was surprised.

As I understand it, the committee will decide in August whether to go ahead in some form or another.
Much as I enjoy Telford, it's the highlight of the modelling year for me, I hope the decision is not to go ahead.
Any form of social distancing would be impossible and I don't think many modellers would want to attend bearing that in mind.
Under the circumstances, I think it would be a flop, best to try again next year.

Telford is one thing I look forward to --  but if it goes ahead  I think it will be without me this year.

I think I may also be giving it a miss, but only time will tell.

I have leave and a hotel booked so will take it as it comes.  If SMW isn't on, I may still go don there and have some time off.  If it is, well, it'll cost me nowt to get in so I can poke my head round the door and if I don't like what I see, I can allus leave.
