Me too, I'm thinking of upgrading.

In to colour now, all shiny ready for transfers.
I used my new airbrush for this.

And here's the airbrush.
Its the Mr Hobby Pro Con FWA and it cost £118.00.
I've only ever owned cheep airbrushes, this new one is much better engineered and much easier to clean.
The air valve on the front of the brush is brilliant and gives me much better control over air flow.

The green looks darker in real life. I used the Vallejo BOB colour set.

Is that the same airbrush that Haddock has?

i don't use mine a lot so am still using a generic cheap one from Telford a few years ago - brush is best - hohohoho

The chap at Albion Alloys convinced me 0.2mm was big enough provided I thinned my paint
correctly, if I didn't like it, he would swop for a 0.3mm nozzle, it works fine.
                   I think it's just as important to have a reliable source of clean dry air with fine control
of the pressure and paint thinned to the right consistency, a cheap brush will work just as well
although it probably won't last as long and be as nice to use.

I have certainy found that to be the case.

Yes I agree; it's getting the paint thinned correctly with the comensurate air pressure.

It's all too complicated for me!
