1968 Vietnam scene

One Shell oil drum now finished just some weathering to make it look the part.

Table finished and painted red - then "she who must be obeyed" thought it would look better in gloss black. 
If she is happy then so am I -- and its only a table in the back of the house, that I expect 90% of our members will not even see.

The castor oil and the colocasia have now had the veins added to the leaves.

Hi Martin, just been browsing through your dioramas. Very impressive. I even thought it might be interesting to do something similar although I don't know how I can fit in a helicopter!

You can do it Chris - seen lots of Vietnam dioramas with Helicopters. Remember one with it landing on one of the river gunboats and several with them crashed into a paddy field.

I've just caught up with this thread and yet again am impressed with how the scenarios you come up with. Being innocent I thought the figure was leaning back to check the wallpaper.
Oh and if we meet up again this year you can call me Meyer!!!
