It looks like you are getting there with this Dave.

With all that work can we have the airfield display when the squadrons have flown off into battle, it all looks good.

That's a great idea -- no planes  -- hohoho  sorry Neil

Don't worry Chris --- Helos are accepted just no planes

As the first layer on the balloon dries, it is back to the mini diorama with the three vehicles.
Here they are, posed just to look at the effect, the foam tender is still unfinished, and I knocked the mirroe off the streamlines one.

Still not sure if it is your model or a photo -- so well done that man.

Hi Zak,
Great, just great...
Never seen anything matching this.
These will get a lot of attention when released to the general public.
Have a big pat on the back from me.
Cheers,
Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

What ingenuity... absolutely fascinating.
I am awe-struck!

If you were to take these pictures in black and white, they could easily pass as photo's of the real thing.
Brilliant.

To (mis)quote that line from the 'Calander Girls' film – "we're going to need a considerably bigger display area" to properly display all these wonderful buildings and vehicles!
If we DO ever get around to photographing them for the IPMS Magazine and/or the IPMS Battle of Britain Special, (which I am determined we will), the three vehicles infront of the buildings can reproduced exactly as the photo of the original... even with the Spitfire, Gladiator and Blenheim in the background...

If the INFLATED barrage balloon attempt fails, could you maybe reproduce it in DEFLATED form and position it next the the vehicle as a diorama in its own right? As if the crew were just about to inflate it? Just a suggestion.

I'm still awestruck...
... and can't wait to see them on a display table!
