Nice looking model.
Enjoyed following your build.
Grumpy by name and nature

Bigkev

Wow that looks great Roger!
A very good build from start to finish.
Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

I had the B-17 out of the cabinet along with one from a previous generation and thought I'd take some photos.
The silver one you will recognise, as being the new generation Airfix kit built by me.  The camouflaged one is the original Airfix kit built by my Father in the early sixties, with a few bits missing!  Must be battle damage.

Interesting markings on your fathers B17.

MUHA, very very good build

Roger

Thanks Chaps
Olvar - what does MUHA stand for? (Being a bit dim here!)

BridLUFC -the markings are hand painted, I guess there weren't many alternatives in those days!

Hi Roger,
I don't know what MUHA stands for either..........
But I know that your B-17 looked very nice on the 580 modellers stand.
Cheers,
Kevin

Thanks Big Kev, I'll bring it along to a club night so others can see it if they wish.
