Just opened the box for this conversion kit. It is a Hawkeye Models conversion for which I am using a Hasegawa Blackhawk as the donor aircraft - 1/72nd scale.
Onward and upward!

Chris will you be making the "White House" to put in the background ?????

No unless your making a zombie to go in it. Sorry you're too late.
It would make a rather large diorama though.

You make the White House and I will make you a zombie to go in it -- now what colour hair shall I do ?????

Haddock

I think there's already a zombie there, blonde hair and orange skin, just needs beating up a bit......could be arranged!!
Haddock.

Bigkev

Hmmm!
I cannot think who that might be...?

Can you make a diorama to show it flying with the zombie getting pushed out? Now there's a cheery thought!!

chriswil42

An interesting concept; but I think I will just stick to the helicopter.
Main rotors built so far. No point of putting a photo up yet.

Bigkev

Hi Chris,
Now you've started on the 'big' element, you will get increased motivation.
Look forward to seeing your build progress.
Cheers,

First bit of modification to the fuselage. Acu grille.

Hi Chris,
Are these replacement intakes in resin?
Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

chriswil42

Yes resin parts Kevin. Moving very slowly with this.

Slowly moving on. Here are the two modified fuselage halves. The new conversion parts for the doors and windows are in place with the modified glazing. Some details on the fuselage have been removed that were not requied. Sorting out the interior - not that it will be visible much.
