Lots of filling, do you buy extra large tubes?

Is this a coincidence???

Here is the bulk of the painting done. Now ready to do the detail and attach the antennas which requires a bit of bending some brass.
Also a photo of the painted antennas.

Looking good enough to fly

It can't do at the moment!
Look its not painted, would you want to fly in a 'naked helicopter'
But I do agree, it is coming on very nicely.
I look forward to its progress from Chris.
Cheers,
Bigkev

I think the lack of  rotor blades would cause more problems than lack of paint - hohohoho

Aaaah, hadn't thought of that.
Rotor Blades do 'trump' paint finish.

Here it is complete. For those of you with eyesight issues, it has the rotor blades on.
Airbrushed with mr hobby paints and finished with mig matt varnish.
The decals where a pain as they tended to disintegrate hence the numbers on the tail boom are the wrong font.
Attaching the antennas took quite a bit of time and patience after the brass bending - it looks the part anyway.
