I have two, one on an Albion chassis and one on an AEC chassis, but maybe a Thornycroft?

What about some grass cutting paraphernalia??

As far as I can make out, the grass was cut and rolled, particularly on grass airfields.
This was often done by contractors but sometimes the RAF had their own machinery.

I hope your lawn mower is a nice RAF blue though.
Have a look on page 23 of this theme.

Well, some vehicles from the film perhaps?
Here is the MG under construction, driven by Christopher Plummer who was married to Bill's favourite actress in the film.
I have used a "Haddockism" and used Maskol to hold the wheels on temporarily while I try to fit the mudguards.
