Are you basing your research on the film or on books and such like?  Neither is wrong, I'm just curious.

The stone porch outside the building made from MDF and then coated with plaster.
A coat of brown paint on the ground outside so when the coloured coating is added and falls off, it will not be as obvious.

Hi Msea,
It is looking so good. I love the building, the figures, but those Biscuit box's.

Not sure a Mr. Robinson and I, have relatives in the biscuit industry.....?

Oh, Crumbs.....
Cheers,
Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

Thinking  about it I should have put "John Cook & Co Ltd" on the biscuit box !!!!!!
The 8 soldiers have now had some block colour on them.

The walls have now been ground out between the stone blocks and a start made on removing the corners of the blocks so they don't look like square modern blocks.Time consuming but should make it look more of the period -- I hope.

All walls done - next some colour in the grooves and then some more colour on the blocks.
