Sorry, I picked this up on eBay for £5 + postage, couldn't resist, doesn't fit the Falklands theme really.
This is the Revell 1:700 RMS Titanic, full hull, so the first job will be to waterline it.
The ships is a monster, approx. 38cm even in this scale.
The photos show before and after.

You are a busy person. At £5 who could blame you for not resisting.
Interested to see how you portray your Titanic.
I hope my next is always better

Perhaps he could rewrite history, and Titanic didn't sink and was saved by the engineers!!
Though how he could model 10lb lump hammers in such a small scale might be a challenge too far........!

Not for Zak he would even get the damage to the hammer head in his model - its only 1/700 and you know his skills but what would the engineer look like  :-\  :-\  :-\

An idea for the Titanic, sinking and down by the bows with the stern in the air.  Somebody diving off the stern and people in a lifeboat holding placards with marks out of ten for the dive  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)

I decided to have a go at making my own railings for the Titanic.
These are from stretched sprue, from the kit, a nice white colour.
A used a solid aluminium foil tin and cut grooves in the edges, the filament goes through these.
The uprights are then superglued to them.
This is removed and trimmed.

Just one problem, they look really overscale, rethink required.
