Looking nice. I was going to ask if there would be some sort of scene, together with the tender, but you have already said there will. Great Stuff!
I hope my next is always better

Hopefully the subs being replenished from the tender.
Should I add some people? I don't have any as yet.
The subs rails were enough of a trial for me.

Trying to get the diorama to come together.
I tried to weather the depot ship, to give the appearance of a long time at sea re-supplying submarines, but I think I may have overdone it.

I think the Submarine Tender looks war weary and not overdone. Leave it as is, just some suitable water effect will complete a very nice trio.
I hope my next is always better

I agree with Kev, leave the tender as is. You can't beat a bit of dirt!!!

The wearied effect looks good Dave.

This is just about finished.
Some extra details have been added, a small boat and a Carley float, a Japanese Betty and about 25 figures, if you can even see them.
There are some loading torpedoes, one in the float waving at the aircraft.

I am not sure about adding figures, you really have to search for them.

Very impressive Dave. Yes, the figures are really tiny but they do add size perspective to the vessels. I like the Betty giving them a flypast.
Nice painstaking work.
I hope my next is always better

Looks like a competition winner.

Very impressive. I can't believe it's 1/700th scale. Excellent Dave.

WOW! That's terrific. I have the same problem with knowing when to stop weathering but your look spot on. I'm looking forward to seeing this

Now. it is onto the IJN Seaplane Tender AKITSUSHIMA from SkyWave/Pit Road.
2 flying boats are included a Type 2 and a type 97.
They have been assembled - approx. 10 and 12 each parts, give or take.
The hull has been attached to a base for ease of handling
