1/48 Arii Patriot Missile System
« on: April 13, 2018, 08:00:21 AM »
I picked these up fairly cheaply, now I know why.
The kit, as a plastic kit is fine, few ejector pin marks and not much cleaning up to do, yes there is a but, but the vehicle seems to represent nothing I have ever seen.

It is a basic kit and is very toy like in appearance.

It fitted with my present modelling theme - missiles of course.

Well I will probably just build it straight from the box, warts and all.
The wheels are hollow and have no rear. I did fill the rear of the spare wheels as they show.
The cab is not fixed if it looks a bit odd.

This is quite a simple build from the box.
More progress here.

Hi Zak,
Wot!.........No exhaust gasses on emerging missile!!
Or perhaps you will add steam later............
However a nice looking model, hope we don't need the real thing in the near future..............!
Cheers,
Bigkev

Well here it is, what the vehicle is I have no idea, some reviews suggest that Godzilla stamped on it.

Does the kit qualify for 'Rear of the Year'
Only joking, a nice variant of the Missile defence system.

Are all three out of the same box, or is it three kits?

Haddock.
Three kits produced by the same manufacturer, Arii, there is also a fourth but it is just the font half and some aerials.
I picked them up quite cheap and thought they would go well together.
Not sure what the motive power is supposed to be, it is certainly weird.

Never mind if its weird, are you registered as a 'Super Power' with the UN.
All these kits makes me think you are starting another 'Arms Race' in the enclave of Bempton.

I reckon Donald trump better start negotiating with you, before you create a bigger arsenal than theirs...............
