Superstructure, more bits of plastic card stuck together, the ladder is a Plastruct item.
It all comes apart for ease of working.
The last picture is of the captain of the Landship Britannia. He is 28mm scale, so is approximately 28mm high, it equates to 1/56 as far as I can tell.

More rivets added to the superstructure.

Hi Zak,

Think you are sharing those mushrooms with Msea.
This is wild and Zany, but very intoxicating watching it develop.
Another scratchbuilt lesson to us all.

I hope my next is always better

Scratch building railings from brass and thin wire - pure joy, no it went ok, I just now have to make sure I don't put my big fingers through them.
Bits of cardboard and drainpipe come in useful as well.
This is getting rather large.

Decals - transfers were made with white decal paper for the Union jacks and other decal paper for the name.
It is being weathered and generally dirtied up with washes and airbrushing dilute inks onto it.
The rivets were pin washed with dilute black colour. The smaller tanks gives you some idea of the size.

Weird I think.
