Just catching up with some TV recorded over Christmas and was watching "Lego's Big Christmas" on channel 4 (it is still on catch up if you need to see it.)
This man had so much lego he has bought an extra house to store it all in. So now when "she who must be obeyed" looks at my stash and gives me the look - when will you ever get them all made - I can just remind her about the whole extra  house full of lego.

The subject of much disharmony between the present Mrs D and myself!

I have a modelling room and was promised even more space when the kids left home - never happened, Grand children came along and the rest is history.
I still yearn for the 22ft x 10ft space that was once promised, model railways and everything imaginable.
Such things are dreams made of.

My collection (complete) of Hornby 'Schools' Class and Pullman coaches etc., (almost) forgotten in boxes somewhere in the Garage... but one day....!

PS. It works (See photo) many thanks for tip!

Kiteman

I cant boast an extra house but I can claim that I have a room just to store my stash in. Apart from my modelling room, which is more than adequate, I have my stash of well over 200 boxes stored in a room in our cellar. Mrs Kiteman is always dumstruck whenever she goes into this room but the good side is that when it grows a little (by the àddition of one or two models more) she doesn`t notice. Although in early December I had a bit of a sort out and sorted the models in type order and when completed Mrs Kiteman made the comment, " I didn`t realise that you had so many!"
Note to self.....carefull when sorting out....she may notice something.

I think DCOS is resigned to the fact that there's no stopping me.  A few months back, she even actually helped me to catalogue all my kits.  I sold it to her as an investment for her when I'm gone so once I saw the £ signs in her eyes, I knew I was on fairly thick ice.

What I need to do now though is decrease the value of her inheritance by getting some kits built!!!

Now there's a good idea.
