Book "Abandoned Places"
« on: September 17, 2016, 11:53:26 AM »
Just finished this book ( yes Zak I can read ) from The Works -- last time I was in the shop they had none left.  It tells in 150 striking images, the stories of ghost towns, flooded shopping malls, eerily rusting amusement parks and forgotten railways.
It got me thinking about Haddocks comment when I made the Ilyushin Il28 Beagle "have you ever considered doing something clean and undamaged"  -- after this book I think the answer is NO.

Yet again you are correct Zak -- will look for a cheap train in one of the charity shops for the wheels.
