Just because you have been decorating.
It is like watching paint dry.

Just so you can see I'm doing something, here's progress so far. Just sub-assy's ready for painting, this is the easy bit. I really should put this on one side and finish Z39.

Progress is very slow, lots of small detail to produce.

Anyway, here's where I'm at now.

The colours are supposed to be " authentic " time will tell.

The prop guards are supplied in etched brass but there is no way in this world that what is supplied can be formed to the correct shape, so mine are scratch-built.

The transfers are to represent the walk-ways on each deck, not sure I like the look of 'em, it could be out with the decal remover once fitted.

On closer inspection, I think what look to be white lines across the black are actually spaces so I will be left with just the black bars with the deck colour showing through in between each black bit. only one way to find out, stick 'em on!!

This is what they look like on, not what I expected. I don't think they add much to the model.
Might look better with the setting solution washed off and some varnish applied. As you may see, some of the detail is added AFTER the transfers are in place.......... naughty.

Bit more progress. It all seems very slow but there's a lot to do, I've just counted another 60+ parts to go on, all very small, that doesn't include railings and other bits of brass that you can hardly see.

This could get tedious, these are depth-charges, mounted in groups of five, thirty in all so six groups.

More detail added, starting to look quite " busy ".
