And I reckon the upper camouflage would be brown and green.

Just want to get my nose in.....................

There is no stopping you guys is there, Yes..Bonus Point to Wizzel Hurricane Mk1, spot on, well spotted with the gun bay. Yes it is the Albion Refueler from Airfix in 1 : 48, so Bonus there for Zak, and a sympathy point for Kev for the colouration comment. More progress to come soon.

Kiteman

I thought it about time to update you on the progress on the two (or so) models that I am currently building. I have been a bit lazy recently in taking photos but will try harder in the future. So here are a couple of shots of the Italieri Hurricane Mk1 and the Airfix new tooling refueler.
Make of them what you will.

So here I am back at the bench and decided to carry on where I left off with the refueler which is now just about finished. I am rusty (just like my models) but it feels good to be back sticking bits of plastic together. So let me know what you think.

Roger

Nice refueller, you've made a tidy job there.

That's a nice looking kit, good job rusty.

So back to the bench again, I have "dirtied" the refueler somewhat to make it fit in with the little diorama I am building. The refueler will be on an airfield refuelling a Hurricane. I have an original picture from "those days" that I am using to base my diorama on. Here are some piccies of the dirty refueler, the original piccy from the airfied (Biggin Hill 1940) and a piccy of the diorama so far....all work in progress. See what you think.

Now I'm confused. If the caption below the "proper" picture refers to the picture above it, there must be more than two blades on the prop. Am I missing something?
Haddock.

Kiteman

The first caption refers to a picture on the previous page. The caption to the picture above is the second caption (not really readable on the photo).
I hope that all is now clear.

So, whilst waiting for glue and paint to dry and as a matter of change here is the next thing on the bench, but what is it?

Bigkev

I hope my next is always better

Could it be some form of fuel carrier?

Kiteman

Here is a bit more to tantalise you.
