I could tell that it was scratch build...well done, most excellent

Haddock

More boats, there are six like this. They all have the same disease, the gunwales are miles over-scale and the thwarts sit too high in the hull. Bit of Beesting butchery soon puts that right. Should look better under a coat of paint.

Presumably that is a before and after, one looks a lot thicker than the other.
The cleanliness of your work always astounds me!

Yes, before and after. Would be better if I could see what I was doing.

Should of gone to 'Specsavers!'
Bigkev

But bloody brilliant anyway!!!
I hope my next is always better

Kiteman

I dont really know what the names mean (not being a nautical man) but the modelling looks superb.
PS i had thwarts as a kid and the doctor froze them off...

Haddock

Thwarts are seats and the gunwale is the "edge" of the boat.

Kiteman

Thanks for that Haddock, ist always good to learn something new, and yes it made my eyes water.

Bigkev

Another miniature masterpiece in the making!

No1  First lot of boats in place.

No2 I sometimes think I need my bumps feeling, that's a 0.3mm drill through 0.9mm plastic. All will be revealed if it works.

Another boat in place plus its derrick and some bits of string to tart it up a bit. Definitely bump-feeling country this

great work Haddock, but what is "bump feeling country"?
