Venue Change for Club Meetings
« on: November 18, 2014, 06:25:38 PM »
Hi All,

As from immediate effect, we will no longer meeting at 'The Railway Buffet, Bridlington Railway Station, Bridlington.

Club members will be aware that our December meeting will be held at a temporary location(yet to be decided), so that members will have a chance to discuss the matter openly and freely.

However, the website header page will still show the old details for a few days until it can be removed. Once a new venue has been discussed and agreed with members, the new details will be added.

We hope to have normal club meetings back in place for the start of 2015.

Cheers,

Bigkev

Hi Kevin

Yet again we have to thank you for all your hard work to keep the club running as normal - I hope you appreciate that WE ALL understand and eulogize (the rest of you will have to look that up) you for it.

Well, it is what it is, I think we need to move on and not dwell on the past.

Without using big words - just for haddock - the club is its members not the place we meet, that's my view.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all your support.
As it says in Apollo 13..................'we have a problem'.
So, I am sure working together, we can up with a solution that will put us in a better place soon.

We might have to accept changes, but it is important all feel involved and their individual views are taken into consideration.

Hi All,

Just to update you with the latest on the venue for 8th December.

Thanks to Dave, we have got the use of the dining room at The White Horse, Main Street Bempton, Nr. Bridlington, YO15 1HB  to hold a private meeting to discuss the problem, and discuss possibilities for a new permanent venue at different locations and their individual merits.

The meeting is as usual 7.30pm for 8.00pm start.

It is important for as many members as possible to attend to have a chance for their input.

This meeting is for members only, however please feel free to bring your Christmas cards along to distribute.
Also on this night we will not be displaying models.

Cheers,
Bigkev

Hi All,

Forgot to tell you, I will be bringing along a box of books awarded as a prize to the club from Scale Aircraft Modelling International for putting on the Best Model Show for 2013/2014.

Though these are mainly aircraft orientated, there are some Military titles in there too.

To make it fair, all members will be given raffle tickets, these will then be drawn and the winner will be given a choice from the selection on offer.

First tickets drawn out of the hat (Janice's) win

Bigkev

PS. Please note as we are getting the venue for free for this meeting, will everybody do their bit and please buy at least one drink from the bar as we have done in the past at the Railway Buffet.
