The fault of Cyril - Iveco / Fiat 190.38 Special
« on: December 04, 2013, 04:10:09 PM »
Cyril started building trucks and I just thought I would have to have a go, something that I have never done before.
This is an Italeri 1:24 Ivceco 190-38 special.
I have added some hydraulic, fuel and air lines, and the odd bit of extra detail.
A nice kit but, boy are they big.
Here are a few pictures during the construction.
I did not have the courage to go for right hand drive - perhaps the next one.

Here is the finished truck.
I am going to have to work harder on the paint finish though.
Used the trusty Vallejo and gloss is by Klear.
Yes the cab tilts and so on.

My, that's a big one!  Good work Kev.  The thing with trucks is that I would not be tempted to weather it but produce it to "Truck Show" standard, so would leave myself no room for error in the finish.  I think I may avoid such things for the time being anyway.

Nice to have the website up and running again, even if it is for the select few.
