We were in a T2 at Elvington, there's you diorama?

zak

Some airfield vehicles are included in the set, they bear a passing resemblance to the old Airfix Emergency set.
I held them on cocktail stick, with a hole drilled in the bottom to paint them.

I know Chris hence the T2 Hangar scratch build. I really don't recognise the hangars in the kit.
I will bring them along to assemble on Sunday, all being well.

Those red cross markings must be miniscule!
Looks like they based all the vehicles on the Airfix ones albiet much smaller.
I hope my next is always better

Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane, they fit in the half size T2 hangar.

The East Riding Aviation Museum has its first exhibits.

Some dry brushing still to be done on the aircraft.

Blimey, what a challenge but you'll do a decent job as always. Interesting scale too - I wish you the best of luck

I like it! complete with authentic looking mud!, after all the rain over the last few days.
Have you placed any exhibits in the T2 yet?

The mud is a base coat for the grass.
Nothing in the hangar as yet, the roof does come off though.
At the moment I am working on the hangars from the kit, 2 of them.

Grass replaces the mud, almost!

Looks like a cross between London Colney, Newark and Elvington with differing aircraft, some requiring TLC. Well done.

Bigkev

That looks good. Nice to see the B-17 and a Dakota still awaiting a repaint.
Will be great to see and a great talking point.
