Base coat on the clothing under the armour and more work done on the helmet

The good news is that unless it was metal then Japanese armour was lacquered so you use a good gloss finish. Did you know that horse riders wore a cape which when fluttering stopped them getting shot in the back with arrows?

Yes Chris they sometimes had a wooden frame with the cape round that -  :o  :o  :o

NO Bob - its like ship models if I could get to 50% Haddock level I was happy and it will be the same with Figures - 50% Howard level would be great to me  :P  :P  :P  :P
Name picked out in white on the helmet - will let it dry and see if it needs another coat
