Looking forward to seeing this completed, as no doubt you are!!! I've been trying to find a 'cheap' Concorde so I can convert it into the plane from 'The Man in the High Tower'.

Hi Francis, glad you have overcome the website.
Thought you might have had problems. Nice to see your Concorde progressing so well.
Modelling is not as challenging as the website normally.
Nice to have you on board.

Commenced decaling this morning and after cracking on for an hour I've placed 36 of the 120 or so decals and there's sod all to show for it. Time for a coffee break methinks.

chriswil42

I hate models with mountains of decals.

Day two of the decaling and there's still lot to go at. I'm persevering as it'll add a bit interest to what is otherwise just a fairly plain white, albeit an attractive looking aeroplane.

At least they're going on a white background. I sometimes wonder if it's worth putting black or red stencils on a dark background as you have to know they're there to see them!! I hope the coffee break helped relieve the stress Francis.

Bigkev

No doubt it will look very smart Francis.
The decalling stage seems to add 'life' to any project, this one won't be any different.

This morning I'm finishing the starboard engine. Once again decals, lots of them for such a small item.

Bigkev

It looks really good Francis. Your decal application is excellent and precise.
Nice work. Look forward to seeing this iconic aircraft when you've finished it.

Nice work on the decals Francis.  Lòoking good.

That's underside finished save for a little last minute weathering after an overall clear coat. Next task is to tackle the top side with some rather daunting long fuselage stripes.

Very nice Francis.
You'd better have a lie down in a dark room with some cucumber slices on the eyelids to refresh them in readiness for the uppers.

Had a big push over the last couple of days to get this one of the bench. Rushing hasn't done it any favours and there are a few bits that I'm not best pleased with but it's done and escaped the shelf of great inertia.
