Sorry Bob BUT I am now going to destroy/make a pigs ear of a tank.
Its a Mk 1 and I will try and convert it to a Mk5 - main change is a shorter gun barrel as shown in last photo, new exhaust and get rid of the wheels at the back end.

Stbd side put together - now to make the other shorter brass gun barrel

All parts together just the new exhaust to make

You're getting on with this one Martin.

Just remember that this may not be any real tank, the one they measured up at Bovington was built from all sorts of odds and sods, so accuracy is dubious!
Grumpy by name and nature

Sounds just like one of my models - rivet counters eat your heart out  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Martin,
looks like you've caught 'Wayneitus' with this build.
What scheme will it appear in.......?

I hope my next is always better

Never could I get up to the speed of Wayne or even Zak  :P :P :P :P :P
Not decided yet about the colour scheme - could be a British colour being delivered to the docks in Russia, but I did see a good painting of one in White Russian colours during the Civil War at the battle of Kalkovka in 1920 - decisions decisions decisions  :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

Thought about doing the tank being offloaded from a ship - found this 1/700 scale crane ( was given the set a long time ago, think it was Kevin - so thanks Kevin) Put it together to see if it would just get away with the different scales - answer NO - so will use this on a dock sceane with another ship.  So if I do the tank and ship, will have to scratch build a crane  :o :o :o :o

Have you thought about the old Airfix /Dapol crane, might be suitable.

Decided that I have a lot on at the moment ( new fence and sorting out the garden area by it , as well as lots of different models on the go) so don't want to build a crane and dock side and also part of a ships hull - so its back to plan A - battle of Kalkovka.
Crane will wait for a 1/700 ship to put alongside a dock area - bet that expands and grows into a dock yard and shipbuilding section as well - but heyho its all for fun  :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
