Rotor blades prepared. Top one is from the kit; bottom the one for the conversion.

Undercarriage on. The air con unit behind the cockpit had to be sanded down quite a bit. The original part looked way too large looking at the photographs.

First coat of primer on. It has shown up afew areas to be filled. Do that before its next coat.
Hopefully a couple of coats of white over the primer should be enough to make it white.

After a third coat of primer I think I have just about got rid of the green plastic colour. Some filling to do now.

Seriously though, sometimes the colour of the plastic used gives a lot of work on certain schemes especially civil aircraft and helicopters.
The finish line just got a lot closer Chris.

Would white over grey primer have helped?

I think it would still be a few coats. One with at least two coats of topcoat now.
