First the RANT - what did we get for the "Free FUN Airfix - What Can You Do With IT" Competition - lots and lots of, this is the model so I shall make it just as it says - what happened to Imagination, what happened to Originality what happened to not making it just out of the box ?????
My fault, it was not a tight enough design brief - but as long as you had fun making it, what the hell - rant finished.
Next an apology - it has been a pain trying to sort out one model from the next at times - so if I have made any errors let me know and I will change the captions on the models - sorry for any mistakes
1 - general view of the whole set of models
A MSea conversion to an outrigger boat
B - MSea conversion to a house
C - Francis Spitfire
D - Howard conversion to a sail boat
E - DaveS conversion to a childs runabout
F - DaveS conversion to a drone
G - No information slip

Well done Martin, a mammoth task sorting that lot out.

Why are you having a rant? it is only sticking bits of plastic together, sometimes in a different order and way to others, all in all I thought it turned out to be a really good exercise and provoked a lot of interest.
Calm down and Carry on!

The question is "Are you a kit builder or a modeller?"
I don't mean YOU, I mean all of us!

Thanks for all the work. I know how long it takes to do this.

Thanks for posting Martin
I think everyone had a good evening with lots of fantastic models on display, probably the most models I?ve seen on a club night.

Thanks - yes it was a good night with lots of excellent models on show.  It was just me expecting the members to show Imagination, Originality, not just robotic following instructions and how things are - but showing what they could be..
Its not often you are given this chance and for FREE at that - just put it down to me getting pain from the hip and I will not mention it again  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
Sorry Francis but I would have chosen either of the models below - but that's me so I WILL shut up now   ::) ::) ::) ::)

Great pictures Martin. There were some really good models this meeting and the fun Airfix ex make'n'take produced some magnificent efforts.
A good and busy evening.
