This is the one I started on the modelling day, just finished it.

Nothing stuck yet.
I am not happy with the large intakes, you can see inside to nothing, some thought needed here before gluing everything together.
Most models I can see on t'web simply leave the hole.

I have got some mesh, from Croppers, Mighty Lancer did not have any.

I tried the mesh in place and it just does not look right.
Meanwhile I decided to cut the canopy in half and have it open so the piloy could be easily seen.
Some careful cutting required.

I have some etched brass mesh that was for the safety nets on USS Langley, probably too fine, I'll bring it along.

Why not just make FOD guards for the intakes? Flat sheets, red paint simples!!!!
