1/:35 Airfix Austin K2/Y Amulance
« on: September 01, 2022, 08:25:43 AM »
Sorry no photos of the build.
I did have a few problems, the fit of the parts is almost too good and even a layer of paint gets in the way.
Here it is finished as Katy from the film Ice Cold in Alex.
The cutting mat was included especially for Chris.

Thought you'd been a bit quiet. Nice model Dave. Any figures to go with it?

Not as yet.
I have some blankets and pillows and first aid packs on order though.

Not really, just fancied the Airfix kit.
Struggling to do much at the moment.

The Gecko Models offering has more parts and more detailed, full engine, the wheels can be posed in different positions.
As an example the Airfix Prop shaft is in one part, Gecko is in 5.

Just the two I think.
Radiator and grill, nice bit of etched brass.

Small problem with the Jerry can.
The holes in the instruction are not in the same place as the holes on the etched part?
Very odd.
