Summer Modelling Blues.......
« on: June 25, 2022, 07:06:05 PM »
Hi All,
Though I keep watching the posts on the website, I am frustrated by my own ability to model during the summer months.
I find that I cannot get comfortable to sit down and model. The heat, the light, the other outdoor events/jobs all conspire to mean that I cannot 'get into' modelling. I have a few 'halfway projects' that I hope to restart once the nights get shorter, the days a bit cooler, the jobs a few less.

So I apologise to my fellow contributor's, that I have not posted a build or project for a while,  it is not that I don't want to model, it's that I find it physically not for me at the moment.
Does anybody else have similar problems, or are you all able to adapt at this time of year?
Bigkev

I hope my next is always better

I can sympathise. Being retired, I have plenty of time to model, problem is, if you do too much it's easy to lose interest so I don't
do as much as I could.
Bare in mind, when you do get back to it, you'll be fresh and full of enthusisasm so use the time wisely.
Haddock.

At the moment I find I have too many other things keeping me away from the modelling room.
Generally I do not find it a problem.

I am like Zak it usually doesn't bother me. BUT at the moment with this covid I am very very very sleepy - now you sort out the other 6 dwarfs.

It appears we're all in the same boat (nautical reference there for you MSea). Between Village events, gardening and other things time has been short for modelling and when available it has taken some effort to resume. It doesn't help as I can't make up my mind which kit to start next!!! I can't see much happening soon as the Tour de France starts today and shortly after that finishes we're Norway bound, but saying that there is a Play Day around the corner, hooray!!
