Hi all, sorry for the lack of post, health problems and so on.
Anyway I started this a few years ago and came across it while sorting out my models and model room.
It was to be part of my V2 models display, but I never finished it.

Well I have started another project and this might just fit the bill, I may have to convert it to a tipper version, but time will tell.

Anyway it has inspired me to get some modelling done.

That will be a nice build.

I have just discovered why I put it back in the box, I obviously had problems fitting various bits in the cab.
I have stripped it back and will have another go,

You little hero you - it will be excellent when you have finished it.

AFV are great kits but they can be a bit over engineered.
Very nice though.
Keep at it Zak.

Sorry again, not much done, the dreaded balance problems have returned, I actually saw a doctor face to face today.

Is the doctor OK or did he have to sit down after meeting you - hohohohohho - don't think I have seen a doctor face to face for about 14 months ( that is why the doctors in Beverley are all happy hohoho)
Hope the balance problems get sorted soon. - that's it for sympathy, back to the insults ---when you feel you can stand up for it - HoHo

I always thought these looked the business. No doubt you'll do it justice. Re your balance problem I feel for you as I suffer from benign postural vertigo so I know where you're coming from.

A little more work done.
This will have a scratch built rear tipper body for the collection of ore from the mine.
I just have to decide on the type of mine. Tungsten maybe, or a small heavy metal mine.

Thanks Chris.
Work continues on the rear of the truck.
The truck will hopefully be loaded from a hopper with the partially crushed ore.
Still working on the type of mine.
Arsenic?
Talc - I can then call it Mohs Number 1 Mine?

How about a gold mine with 7 little people working in it - hohohohho

Hi Zak,
Great to have you back building again.
This looks a very nice looking model, and how you are planning to display it.
I suppose a lot more scratch building will follow.
Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

zak

No doubt, the mine is already growing.
I am planning on a diorama approximately 3' x 2', but more of that later,

I just need an amusing name for it,

Yoursan Mine - already been used.
Avent Adit - not sure.

Ideas please.
