Cromwell ARV
« on: February 16, 2021, 02:48:08 PM »
Started this Cromwell Armoured Recovery Vehicle a couple of days ago. 1/35 Tamiya Cromwell as the donor kit with Accurate Armour conversion kit. the inside is scratch built after finding a couple of this on the internet.
I've got a few other Cromwell ideas so might end up with a squadron of Cromwell's.

I think a lot more than a regiment - now how many tanks has the British army got at the moment and how many has Bob got ????????

What's your ARV going to be recovering Bob?
Looking forward to seeing it finished.

done a bit more, calling the inside finished, and cut and cleaned most of the large parts. Today I've put the upper and lower hull together.
I think I need the recover myself just can't get going.

I’ll see what I can do, the opening on the hull top is not that large.

Some more work done this morning, mainly resin and brass. The drivers hatch and main compartment opening is masked ready for spraying. Andy I used Resicast no.19 radio.
