Chocolate Fireguards et al
« on: December 12, 2020, 03:45:39 PM »
Has anyone else ever seen something model related that would be about as much use as a chocolate fireguard? Listed in the new releases from Hannants is 1/72nd 3D Printed release of the instrument panels and harnesses of the Avro Vulcan B2. You can hide these in your model for the sum of £14.95 plus P&P!!! I've tried to attach a copy of the posting, it wouldn't shrink so maybe it didn't work?
Yesterday we were in P&S Models, Scarborough, and Paul said Airfix might be in trouble as Hornby will be concentrating more on their train side, plus that Tamiya were closing all their outsourced satellite factories and taking everything back to Japan and only using Japanese labour. Without starting a Brexit debate isn't that something what's left of British Industry should be doing?

Hi Chris,
Brexit, may be a very hot topic in the modelling world I fear.
Hopefully things will sort themselves out sooner, rather than later.
As to the Vulcan, I wouldn't purchase as you probably would see about 5-10 per cent of the item if lucky.

I hope my next is always better
