Not this one. I have had spares from other manufacturers.
Yes I try to get as close as possible with sharp scissors, then sand. I built this one not the way the instructions suggested. I think the trick is to do it slowly and patiently.

Main colours on. Olive drab upper surfaces and neutral grey underneath. Almost ready for decals.
