Whirlybird's HCC.12 Whirlwind Queen's flight
« on: August 05, 2020, 02:37:05 PM »
My latest project. Mainly resin parts with a quite a few bits of brass. So I think I will have plenty to do.

Don't forget to take care when working with resin.
Full PPE gear required.

Don't forget the swear box when you are working with the etch brass

Looks like this will be a 'chunky' model when complete!

Don’t get this wrong or you will end up in the tower.

Cocpit mostly done. Some brass bending required.

Some subassemblies done. A bit of brass bending but not upto Tony's complexity.
Currently waiting for the cabin seats to arrive - they were missing from the kit.
Other kits will continue to be built.

It is really annoying when that happens.

Hi Chris,
Nice build thus far.
I did a post about the missing seats being a pain, but moderated myself but I think you might deduce what my post might have said.

I hope my next is always better

Missing seat parts arrived today. Here they are all assembled ready for painting and placement.
Not the complexity of Tony's brass work.
