Don't forget callipers, digital and not of course, Vernier scale, it never ends, as a chemist I did like Angstroms as a unit. 0.00000001 cm I think.

Little & Large
I am struggling with these two.
The heads are just about finished, just a bit of faffing to do.
You can see from the pics that one is significantly larger than the other,
a good 10% I reckon. This applies over the whole lot.  The difference in calf muscles is enormous!
  This could well scupper the original plan of doing a small diorama! This is not helping enthusiasm and Plan B may well involve
a shelf somewhere!

Master class in face painting. Great stuff.

Hi again! Despite not posting much I have been steadily modelling. Unfortunately progress()
has been remarkably slow for the time and effort put in. I'm afraid I am not enjoying these two
but I am too far in to put them on a shelf!
I still haven't decided whether to put them together on a base due to the size differences,
and that will probably be a last minute decision when more or less complete!

However, all is not total gloom and despondency as I have already bought the next two models.

If you stand the smaller one behind the other then perspective will make the smaller one look further away. That could solve the size difference? These are too good to go on the 'shelf of shame'.

The important samurai had personal emblems. These were called Mon.
There were also Clan Mons for the lesser mortals. These were often embroidered on
the back of the coats they wore. For some reason Pegaso have moulded the shape of a mon on the back
of the Big Guy! (See Pic) However, they have not done this on the other model. Presumably he is just a pleb! ( sorry, don't
know the Japanese for pleb!)
Normally I would just file this off as, clearly, it is way over scale in thickness, and then hand paint, or
even manufacture transfers (stickers). However, on Searching the cupboard some stickers I came across
a stack of BRASS things I bought years ago. The are Heraldry of all sorts. Even some of Greek shields. (See Pic)
I have used these in the past to create stickers by taking photos and photoshop.  As the expert Daughter that does this now lives in Edinburgh
I am just going to use as is on the pleb, it will be over scale but will match the Big Guy at least.
