While my eyes recover, I decided to have a go at a cliff face for Coble Landing.
This is layers of packing card, cut up and applied and then coated with ceiling texturing material.
It will require a few coated and some judicious painting.

More parts added to the engine.
The thin plastic is quite delicate.

Sub assemblies, some of the many, still lots to do.
The tracks could be interesting.

Haddock.
It is, modern moulding techniques, crisp parts mostly, the odd hole in the track links to clear out.
Very nice.

Separate links always look better than the old 'elastic band' type of tracks. A lot of work but I think they look a lot better, you have a better chance of getting them to sit properly. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

The beach and sea at Coble Landing start to take shape.
The sand is real sand - from North Landing at Flamborough.
The sea is just paint at the moment.
The coble is for effect.

Slow progress, hay fever or something is really bothering me, bad head and sore eyes.

"judicious painting"....not sloshing it on then?
