Undercarriage fitted and also the cockpit which took a lot of careful cutting and sanding, but still required some filler around the base. Hopefully it won't take too much tidying up once the masking is removed. Drop tanks to fit next then a coat of Satin varnish before weathering and adding the final fiddly bits.

Weathering completed using Flory washes, Dark Dirt above and Grey below with Nuln oil used in the undercarriage bays. Alclad Jet Exhaust tried for the first time on the rear fuselage, applied by brush. Masking removed and only a little bit of tidying up required. Finished as Blue 15 from 10 (N) JG53 Pik As so as well as the Owl insignia I thought the  Units pilots would be proud of their heritage and so added JG53's Pik As. Most crosses came from the kit decals with everything else from spares. Being a Special Hobby kit it's not a 'shake and bake' but a little patience and TLC makes for a good model in the end.
In line with what's been going on lately I created a mini diorama, not up to Zak's standard but I'm working on it!!!!
