practice what ya preace, first of all i owe an apology to john for being rude at the last meeting he asked me a civil question regarding the 2 white metal tractors i had built, who manufactured them,i said at the time i wasn't bothered who manufactured them.that in itself is true i'm not but he asked me a perfectly reasonable question and it was rude of me not to give him the courtesy of a good reply so sorry john, here is a couple of pics showing the box one came in and the plans for the other which came in a plastic bag.hope this answers the question a bit better.

now for a couple of w.i.p firstly a lovely revell type 206 a U BOAT. bought at model zone been a joy to assemble things fit  ,very little trimming and filling ,gonna prime it soon and trying to sort out the topcoat colour.thoroughly enjoyed building it !  the 2nd one is the bane of my life a diorama i planned and started a million or so years ago ,or at least thast what it feels like, its the airfix  1/72nd JUNKERS JU88A-4 an abomination of a kit ,nothing fits ,there is enough flash on it to melt down and build it a hanger its horrible ,bought an old revell version at southwell and have nicked parts from it that actually fit the airfix kit better than the airfix parts, anyway nobody said life would be easy so get on with it geoff and stop whinging, dont know if you can see properly due to my poor photographic skills but i am having a go at weathering it with salt <1st time> so its gonna get a spray on tuesday or wednesday so i will let you know how i get on.

Nice to hear from you again Geoff. I am very reluctant to buy older airfix kits purely for the problems you have mentioned, too much flash, poor fitting parts etc. Revell submarines appear to be very good kits to build, I am currently building one for the maritime competition and it really has been a pleasure to work with. I am currently finishing off a monogram 1/48 f 111, also the dragon 1/72 yf 23a. I am currently nursing a cracked rib or two at the moment so I am limited to what modelling I can do. I am also attempting to build a model railway for my son, but that is on hold at the moment as well, but I will see you all on Monday.

 :(
Wish I was getting some modelling done, inspiration seems to be lacking at the moment.
See I did tell you that your tractors were Scale Link.
See you Monday hopefully.

I am still out here but due to work and family circumstances I haven't been able to get any modelling done in the last 2 months and can't see much done for a while yet

:) glad ive stimulated some discussion do me a favour though lufc...<we discussed this topic on the way home tonight about numbers> there are a lot of very clever modellers in our club who may know lots of numbers and letters and what they are...i however am not one of them please tell me what is a f 111 and a yf 23a mate as i genuinely have no idea ,are they aircraft ,motorbikes, trucks and any chance of a pic of them as im sure a lot of people would be interested to see your build as they always look fantastic when finished.
cheers mate.
