Brushwork!

I have problems with brushes... the problem is they're so damned expensive to buy these days. I have tried various methods for cleaning used brushes and my most recent experiment is with Mrs D's Domestos bleach 1/10 with water and leave the brush in for about two hours. Well the bristles didn't fall out and the results (untested) appear encouraging!
