Hi Zak,
A very nice looking model.
Last picture looks almost 1950's action comic picture, if you get my drift.
Just looks right for that era of early rockets.

I am enjoying the new rocket section of builds, and will now have to look in the loft at the stash to see if I have any. 
It also makes me think of the song by  Elton John  rocket man, I think this would make a great cartoon "Zak the Rocket Man" dressed as Elton John with large glasses and platform boots -- or would this cause some rockets to come my way ??

Here is me attempt at a Thor missile,
Not a great effort I am afraid.
Again, typical for Revell, this is 1/54 scale?

The Honest John is from 1955 and comes with a Kenworth truck and trailer with crates for the missile.
Here it is built and undercoated, not bad for such an old kit, well so far anyway.

Transfers or is it decals applied, several coats of white will be required on the missile.

I decided to display the finished model like this - incorrect probably. the missiles were delivered from the plant in crates, but I liked this idea.
