I know I'm joining this discussion late, but can I say what an excellent way of 're-displaying' a "damaged" model.
I'm starting to think more about displaying my models in diorama settings rather than just as stand-alone model.

Must move on to read all the other topics now!!!

It's starting to take shape, eh?
Not as easy a kit as the P-51H!?!
I have just restarted work on the Special Hobby Fiat BR.20... which has similar wrongly numbered parts and has horrendous fit problems. It's presently clamped all over on my workbench until the glue dries!
I must find my camera so I can post photos too.
