Excellent Francis.
A very different model.

Regarding pilot and ground crew figures, the ones that come in the Airfix 'WWII RAF Ground Crew' set are huge by comparison to the Eduard, ICM and white metal Dartmoor Military Models examples...

Painting small (1/48 scale) figures is a whole new modelling discipline for me so if anyone has got any advice/suggestions they would be most welcome!

I think I need to practice a bit more!
I can't seem to get the depth of field right, and have 'camera shake'.
I'll have to read up on my mini camera instructions, and keep trying...

It is a nice dispersal hut isn't it?
(Best bit of the diorama!)

Dave,
Your rate and speed of output is truly awesome!
And long may it continue.

Going back to do some more research on re-sizing photos now...
... or I may just have just go and have a large whisky!!!

Oooops, apologies for being "rude" earlier.
I hope I haven’t upset anyone?
That's the trouble with double entendres, it's just those with dirty minds that take the "rude" meaning and are offended.
You know who you are!
Zak e-mailed me direct to explain we have to 'moderate' our language on the website...
... so I won't mention that Tom the cabin boy was also called................... Master B****
I’ll be more careful/reserved in future.

Brilliant! Love it!!!
Dioramas really bring the models to life.

I've got my boxes of (1/48) pilots and ground crew figures 'out of storage' and am looking at making them up and matching them up to diorama scenarios.

Dave, you're Mr Motivator!

It's looking good Francis.

Where are we going to display all these models when this pandemic is over?
We'll have to have WEEKLY Club meetings to fit them all in!

Hi Dave,
That's an incredibly quick turnround from starting the model to it being finished and painted!
Wonderful!

Have you started on the searchlight yet????
Will it be finished by tomorrow!!??!!

Can't wait to see all your vehicles and buildings on display!

Hi Zak,
Absolutely mind-bogglingly fascinating how you manage to create things out of cardboard, tape, bits of plastic and brown paper...
You are a true modeller in the proper sense of the word...
... and your speed on construction. Amazing.
I think I may take up stamp collecting, I am way out of my league amongst you lot!
