In these strange times we can't meet and show our models, but we can post on line what we would have brought to the meeting.
Just look on the bright side - no talk from the top table, no bad jokes from me and also NO powerpoints to bore you rigid - hohoho.
I would have brought 3 models first is the zombie "out of the frying pan and into the fire" in 1/35 scale, all the building and the Piaggio van are scratch built
Second one is some more work done on the Russian cruiser Varyag in 1/350 scale
Third is the next installment of the Reaper Mini models of the club committee members, at least I got Kevin in a good mood by the face - I think I will get a clip when we can be less than 2m apart - hohoho.
What would you have brought and any comments/questions about the models seen on this web site string, Don't forget if you look on the web site you can see most models under construction.

Just to give you lot a smile -- been on the phone with Nathan from Mighty Lancer Models. He did not get to open the shop on the 25th as things had shut down by then, but he is still doing his stuff on line. So got a couple of things, might help with the cash flow if people are still getting things on line.
Now for the laugh - what I sent for was a Zombie Shark - that's different I hear a few of you say and I am not listening to what the rest of you are saying - hohoho.. Will put it in a box diorama with it coming out of weeds at the back and rushing towards the front of the box - and yes again I need to get out more.

In the unlikely event of this reaching any one,I have nothing to show
and nothing of interest to say.I did E Mail Bill with a photo of plates full of

Looks like some interesting models would have been at the meeting last night...
As far as the website response (or lack of it) is concerned, don't get too downhearted chaps; give the membership time for the self isolation boredom to really kick in and we'll probably see an increase in postings.
On a personal level, I can't wait to see all Dave's vehicles and buildings together in diorama settings...
Don't forget to go outside at 8.00pm tonight, to clap BigKev and all the other essential workers.

I am sorry that I didn't post pictures of my models last night.
I didn't have time after work to meet the deadline.
I did get up early (5.30am) to send Bill some stuff for his virtual 'Models on the Table' Newsletter.
So put me in detention, but remember that I can only do that after work.....

Hi All,
Well, I thought I might share with you my current on going projects. I am trying to finish off, some half finished projects during the restrictions.
My two shown here are:-
Messerschmitt Me262 Mistel Combination in 1/144th.
This will be two Me262's mounted on a scratchbuilt dolly, one atop the other. Not an actual aircraft combination, but a paper project (Luftwaffe '46) so its final appearance will be my interpretation of what it might have looked like.
Arado E377 + Heinkel He-162 Salamander in 1/32nd
This is again a paper project (Luftwaffe '46), but consists of a big powered 'flying bomb' and a guiding aircraft, the '162' all sat on a take off dolly. I have completed the Dolly, but still need to finish the painting detail on the aircraft components.
Also I will include a pilot and two mechanic's discussing the combination prior to flight. The figures are currently painted in enamels, but once matted down will get the Oil paint details added and blended. ( A figure painting exercise)
All of this will be posed on a late/extended war setting, aircraft on planks of wood, with some distressing of the surface through handling and engine emission's.
