Title: Airfix 1/48 Hawker Fury 1
Post by: zak on November 11, 2019, 02:50:01 PM
I have been messing about with this for a while and so thought it was high time it was completed.
It still needs rigging a  few other bits and pieces doing.

Hi Zak,

Sorry to be the messenger, but it's actually a Hawker Fury Mk.1. The Hawker Hart is a a two seat Biplane of same era.

Wrong name, but a lovely looking model.

Cheers,
Bigkev

Thanks Kevin, I have amended the title, Pedant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this payback for a stressful weekend - I may have to unpack my anti-stress device.

Hi Zak,
Hart or Fury....?
Both Biplanes, so I'll give you 5/10 for effort....
Will that stress ball last a full year... ?

Not this one, reading around it seems many RAF and RFC aircraft were not fitted with these, and in 1/48 scale how visible would they be, but in 1/32, well wait and see.

Very nice that! I wish Wingnut would branch out into some of these Silver Wings subjects, they make beautiful models. Anyway, I like what you have done with this one.
