Any guesses as to my next attempted project?

Vought Cutlass by any chance?

Well done Bigkev , it's the Lindberg kit in 1/48 which is very basic as in no wheel wells, just holes for the undercarriage.
Therefore I intend to do it in flight as a Blue Angels display aircraft, wish me luck!!

Hi Bridlufc,
A favourite aircraft of mine........!!
A Blue Angels Cutlass, that will look very nice, and I cannot wait to see it.
Cheers,

Hi Bigkev, the Cutlass has fascinated me as well, but the problem will be to find the correct blue colour for the Blue Angels version. I have some Blue Angel transfers in 1/48 that will suffice, I'm not sure whether the Cutlass made it to a display team, but a 'what if' will suffice.

As work progresses with this kit the first thing that stands out is the gaping holes in the air intakes which I filled with a couple of intake fans and trunking from the spares box. The panel lines and rivets on this kit are raised but on the fuselage halves the panel lines stand out more on one side than the other, so more remedial work

Here's another one I've decided to start, glutton for punishment or what? In fact there will be two of them, any guesses anyone? For those of you who enjoy floaty things, unfortunately, they are nothing to do with Oxford or Cambridge!!
This is the Zvezda 1/72 ballistic missile launcher "Topol" SS25 "Sickle". I have purchased two sets of photo etch for these kits and also a resin after market kit of the actual ballistic missile which I intend to pose in the firing position, the other one will be in transportation position. Quite a bit of photo etch to play with!!

Mmmmmn.......... Bridlufc,
Now that's a bit of a conundrum.
I need a nights sleep to think it through, but it is difficult for me so far..........
You little devil, you............

I haven't messed about with this one, sanded everything smooth and painted and transferred so this is a quick one for me. Hopefully will be appearing at the next club meet

Looking good in blue, suits it better than the grey white or natural metal colours I think.
Hope to see it on Wednesday
Cheers

Thanks Roger, I agree that the cutlass looks better in blue angels livery.
