Title: Mighty, Mighty, Bismark
Post by: Pen-Pusher on March 13, 2016, 02:48:44 PM
It's finally arrived, the mighty Bismark (with the Tirpitz following close behind) in 1:200 scale from Trumpeter. The one-piece hull is huge and some of the component parts equally impressive and that's before you get down to the smaller stuff. This is 'corrected' kit as some issues were found with the first releases but the wait has been worthwhile! Some of the best detail seen from the Trumpeter stable and loads of 'bonus' bits as well! I will not be building but a friend (yes I have one) will be doing a review in my stead! Watch this space.

I understand this is the only colour photo of the Tirpitz ever taken and showing her coastal camouflage. Quite spectacular for the forthcoming 1/200 giant you're all queuing up to buy?

Hi Pen Pusher,
lots of detail in there. Only trouble with that size of completed model is where to display it, how to transport to show (if you were thinking to)
It will be a very mighty, mighty, Bismark once built. A true talking point for all those who see it no doubt.
